While there are numerous Bible translations available today, this web site quotes the most common one in use (the King James Version). Contrary to popular opinion, differences in modern translations (The ones not produced by the false cults) represent very few problems for readers. New readers sometimes prefer the New King James Version.

Romans 4:4-6

Now to him that worketh is the reward not reckoned of grace, but of debt. (5) But to him that worketh not, but believeth on him that justifieth the ungodly, his faith is counted for righteousness. (6) Even as David also describeth the blessedness of the man, unto whom God imputeth righteousness without works.

Romans 3:23 and 6:23

Rom 3:23 For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;

Rom 6:23 For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.

Ephesians 2:8-10

For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: (9) Not of works, lest any man should boast. (10) For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them.

John 3:16 & 17

For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. (17) For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.

Romans 10:2,3

Romans 10:9-13

Note: The term new creature is best rendered "new creation."
